So my big thing right now are stupid, time wasting sites. Some fun ones to watch for but you will spend far too much time at are: www.i-am-bored.com http://www.worldoflongmire.com/features/romance_novels/ http://www.blogthings.com/amenglishdialecttest/ This last site was full of stupid tests you could take. Here’s a couple I took. Yep. 10 outta 10 on the US Citizen stuff. See? Watching all that CNN does pay off! Here are a couple results from my tests.
You Passed the US Citizenship Test |
Congratulations – you got 10 out of 10 correct! |
Your Linguistic Profile: |
60% General American English |
15% Dixie |
15% Yankee |
10% Upper Midwestern |
0% Midwestern |
I can agree with the results of this test, too. I would have thought I’d have scored higher on the Yankee catagory since I was born and raised in Virginia, but I won’t quibble.
You are an Atheist |
When it comes to religion, you’re a non-believer (simple as that). You prefer to think about what’s known and proven. You don’t need religion to solve life’s problems. Instead, you tend to work things out with logic and philosophy. |
This one kinda surprised me. I’m definitely NOT atheist. I find religion a very devisive subject and can’t stand to talk about it unless people are VERY, VERY close to me. However, I am also a big advocate of science and believe in fact and research.
I think geographically where you are raised makes a BIG difference in your religious expression. Being raised just outside of Washington, D.C., religion was one of the big three that you didn’t discuss. Religion tends to be very internal the farther North you go. After having lived in the South for quite a while, your religious affiliation is only slightly of more import then who your family is.
You Are 50% Weird |
Normal enough to know that you’re weird… But too damn weird to do anything about it! |
Eeeek. Scored slightly higher here then I would have thought or cared to.
You Are 30 Years Old |
